Murray D. Beard

Murray is a skilled financial executive with more than 25 years of diverse accounting, finance, operational and entrepreneurial experience. 

 

Murray has extensive experience in underwriting bank credit facilities, negotiating terms and conditions for real estate credit transactions. He is well versed in the raising of outside investment capital and securing venture/ bank financing.

 

Murray has overseen the financial affairs for numerous not-for-profit organizations in Northeast Florida- both as a Board member and a financial advisor.

 

Murray is a native of the Jacksonville area and has served on the Boards of many local organizations.

 

Currently, he is Chairman of Essential Capital, a Florida Certified Development Company, authorized by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) to make loans to businesses for capital improvements and fixed asset acquisitions under the SBA's 504 Loan Program.

 

He is a Board member of the Rotary Club of Ponte Vedra and Chairs the Youth Ministry at Palms Presbyterian Church. Murray is a Past Chairman of The Players Championship having served as Tournament Chairman in 2000.
